In 1895, a Wilton society meeting was called to organize a class of Methodist practitioners in Odessa. During its earliest days, there was no church building to hold meetings and services in and so they were held in many different places, including peoples’ homes and businesses. This church was officially built for the congregation in 1907.
The community of Odessa gathered together to help build the church, with donations coming in to help from other communities and local business support, the church was finished and invited everyone to attend and worship. Fast forward to 2026 and we are a medium sized congregation who are eager to see new people walk through our front doors.
